Wrapped up, so consumed by all this hurt
If you ask me, don’t know where to start
Anger, love, confusion
Roads that go nowhere
I know that somewhere better
‘Cause you always take me there
Came to you with a broken faith
Gave me more than a hand to hold
Caught before I hit the ground
Tell me I’m safe, you’ve got me now
Would you take the wheel
If I lose control?
If I’m lying here
Will you take me home?
Could you take care of a broken soul?
Will you hold me now?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Hold the gun to my head, count 1, 2, 3
If it helps me walk away then it’s what I need
Every minute gets easier
The more you talk to me
You rationalize my darkest thoughts
Yeah, you set them free
Came to you with a broken faith
Gave me more than a hand to hold
Caught before I hit the ground
Tell me I’m safe, you’ve got me now
Would you take the wheel
If I lose control?
If I’m lying here
Will you take me home?
Could you take care of a broken soul?
Oh, will you hold me now?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
You say space will make it better
And time will make it heal
I won’t be lost forever
And soon I wouldn’t feel
Like I’m haunted, oh, falling
Would you take the wheel
If I lose control?
If I’m lying here
Will you take me home?
Could you take care of a broken soul?
Oh, will you hold me now?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home, home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?

Brenda, I loved that song. I am so in touch with those feelings… been there… we both have but for completely different reasons, but in some ways very similar… Grief and deep sorrow and pain reaches places that others dare to go and have never been. We are connected by knowing that deep pain… for whatever reason it brought us there… we have been there. I pray you didn’t have it or feel it, but that pain touches your soul and places we didn’t know exist. Love the deep and powerful emotions in this song. I love words and music that touch my soul and make me feel… and I felt this one. Touched my heart and soul and I could relate so well. Thank you so much for sharing this. I never heard this song before. So beautiful and meaningful. I hope it is okay but I want to reblog it on post. I listened to it many times. Thank you for sharing Brenda. I pray you are well and it is a good day and you know I love you. Love, hugs and many blessings, Sue

I am so happy that you love the song. I just discovered it today. I was watching X Factor UK series and I haerd it playing in the background. I only heard that part “take me home” and I knew I had to find it and share it. I have listened to it so many times and still listening to it. I can relate and I feel like it is speaking to me. It is true that we are connectes in so many ways beyond time and space. I am getting better day by day and I am glad you are a special person in my life. I receive all your warm hugs and love. Love you too. May God keep blessing you always!❤💕💜💙

This song was originally posted on good friend Brenda’s blog. She is a beautiful person with a loving and beautiful heart and soul. Please check out her blog called Grief Poetry at https://griefpoetry.wordpress.com/ It is an absolutely beautiful and powerful blog full of deep emotions, feelings, love and grief at the same time. I loved this song. I am very in touch with these feelings and emotions… I have been there. Grief and deep sorrow and pain reaches places that the lucky ones dare not go and have never been before. That pain touches your heart and soul and places we didn’t know even exist… but they do. I love the deep and powerful emotions in this song. I love words and music that touch my heart and soul and make me feel… and I felt this one. Touched my heart and soul and I could relate so well. Thank you for reading and then watching and listening. I hope you enjoy this music video and lyrics as much as I do. Let it touch your heart, spirit and soul. Feel God’s powerful love. He is always with us holding our hand and catching each one of our tears as they fall and he is also there smiling with us when we are happy and life is treating us well.
