Who Are You Missing Today?
Who are you missing today, my friend?
A laugh that used to echo around the bend?
A voice that called your name so bright,
Now only drifting through your quiet night.
Is it someone who shared your childhood days,
Running through sunshine, lost in games and plays?
Or someone whose words were soft and kind,
A gentle presence that stayed in your mind?
Maybe it’s a hug that felt like home,
A person who made you feel less alone.
Their chair sits empty, their song unsung,
Yet their memory lives forever young.
But missing someone means love was there,
A bond so strong, so deep, so rare.
And though they’re far or paths have parted,
They live in every place you’ve hearted.
So who are you missing today, it’s true
A little piece of them still lives in you.
In every smile, in every way,
Love remembers… every day.
